Every great project starts with the right tools

At We Do Dev Work, we’ve learned that successful projects don’t really begin with code or design.

They begin with people, conversations, shared goals, and a clear picture of what we’re building together.

Before any wireframe or prototype, we spend time listening.

We want to understand not just the brand and its audience, but the people behind the work, the marketing teams, founders, and product owners who trust us with their ideas.

Our job is to turn those ideas into something real: experiences that look great, work beautifully, and move the brand forward.

The right tools make that possible. Everyone on our team has a few that they can’t live without tools that make creativity smoother and execution sharper.

Our Team’s Favorite Creative Tools

Yok - Full Stack Developer

When I’m building a responsive site, precision is everything. I use Responsive Viewer, a Chrome extension that lets me see how a website looks on different screens at once. It saves hours of device switching and makes it easier to spot inconsistencies.

A small but powerful trick is turning on Sync Scroll and Click. It lets all the previews move together, one scroll, all synced. It might seem minor, but those tiny adjustments are what make a project feel truly finished.

Wave - Full Stack Developer

I like working fast and keeping things simple. Raycast is my go-to tool for managing everything on my Mac, opening projects, checking GitHub, or jumping into dashboards in seconds.

The Quicklink feature is my favorite part. I use it to open any client project instantly with one command. No clicking around, no searching. It keeps me focused on solving problems instead of setting things up.

Eye – UX/UI Designer

Figma is where I spend most of my time. It’s perfect for sketching ideas, building design systems, and collaborating with developers. Because it’s cloud-based. The team members can see updates in real time.

The Auto Layout feature is a lifesaver. It keeps designs flexible and scalable without breaking structure. For me, it’s more than a function; it’s how good design should work structured but adaptable.

Ping – UX/UI Designer

I use Figma too, mainly for interface and graphic design. I love how it helps keep everything organized. The layouts, components, and color systems are all in one place.

There are tons of built-in plug-ins that make the workflow faster without needing external downloads. It’s reliable, efficient, and makes it easy to bring creative ideas to life quickly and safely.

Hafiz – Marketing Coordinator

For me, every visual starts with understanding what the brand stands for, who we’re talking to, and what emotion we want to create. Once I’ve got that picture in mind, I use Envato and VEO to turn those ideas into visuals that speak clearly.

It’s not always one-and-done. Sometimes I’ll generate a first draft, refine it, and build on that until it feels right. When you understand what you want to say, you can tell when to stop and when to keep going. That’s when the tools start following your lead, not the other way around.

Nam – Marketing Assistant

I work mainly with Canva, especially for videos and social content. It’s simple, quick, and surprisingly powerful. I can drop in clips, use built-in animations, and make something campaign-ready in minutes.

The Beat Sync feature is my favorite, it matches every cut to the rhythm of the music automatically. It gives videos a clean, dynamic flow without hours of editing. For fast, on-brand visuals, Canva never fails me.

Our Approach

Every tool we use reflects how we think.

We don’t choose software for convenience, we choose what helps us work smarter, collaborate better, and stay focused on what matters.

Each project starts with clarity, understanding the brand, the audience, and the people behind it. That’s what helps us build digital experiences that not only look right but feel right for the client and for their users
